Eugene H. Winick, Esq.
Eugene H. (Gene) Winick, owner and CEO of McIntosh & Otis, Inc., is a copyright lawyer and literary agent. He is noted for the ground-breaking contracts he has negotiated for his author clients. Gene represents the estates of several of the most distinguished authors of the twentieth century.
    
Elizabeth Winick Rubinstein
Elizabeth Winick Rubinstein, senior agent at McIntosh & Otis, has degrees from New York University and Manhattan School of Music. She began her book publishing career in subsidiary rights and then took on the responsibilities of acquisitions editor at a major audio publishing imprint. Initially, she joined McIntosh & Otis to manage all subsidiary rights but began working as an agent shortly thereafter. Her primary interests include literary fiction, women's fiction, historical fiction, and mystery/suspense, along with narrative non-fiction, spiritual/self-help, history and current affairs. Elizabeth represents numerous New York Times bestsellers, and both Agatha and Edgar Award winners and nominees.
    
Edward Necarsulmer IV
Born and raised in New York, Edward earned a BA in Philosophy from Denison University. After a stint on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, he began his career in publishing as an intern at Random House Books for Young Readers. Edward then moved to the agency side, working briefly at Sterling Lord Literistic before becoming an assistant agent at Curtis Brown, Ltd. In 2004, Edward became the Director of the Children's Department at McIntosh & Otis, Inc. where he now represents a diverse list of Newbery and Caldecott Award winners, as well as some of the most promising new talent in the field.
    
Rebecca Strauss
Rebecca Strauss is an agent in the Adult Department and Director of Subsidiary Rights at McIntosh & Otis, Inc.  Rebecca has been at M&O since 2005 and represents writers in a variety of genres, including WALL STREET JOURNAL bestsellers and Indie Next Picks.  She represents: non-fiction, literary and commercial fiction, women's fiction, urban fantasy, romance, mystery, memoir, humor and pop culture.  Before joining M&O, Rebecca was a foreign rights associate at Trident Media Group, a book scout and development assistant at Sony Pictures and an Account Associate at Ketchum PR. Rebecca earned her degree in English Literature from Duke University.
    
Ina Winick, Ph.D.
Ina Winick, a psychologist, serves as McIntosh & Otis, Inc.'s corporate secretary. She also assists in the screening and preparation of manuscripts for submission. Her interests are psychology, self-help, and mystery/suspense.
        
Shira Hoffman
Shira Hoffman began her career in publishing as an intern at Tor Books and started working at McIntosh & Otis, Inc. in 2007.  She earned her degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at Goucher College and recently completed her M.F.A. at the The New School.  Shira is the assistant to Elizabeth Winick Rubinstein and is the Permissions Manager at McIntosh & Otis.  Shira is interested in a broad range of fiction and non-fiction, but her primary interests include literary fiction, cerebral fiction, women’s fiction, mystery, romance, urban fantasy, science fiction, horror, and narrative non-fiction. 

Christa Heschke
Christa Heschke graduated from Binghamton University with a major in English and a minor in Anthropology. She started in publishing as an intern at both Writers House and Sterling Lord Literistic, where she learned about and fell in love with the agency side of publishing. Christa has been Edward Necarsulmer IV’s assistant at McIntosh and Otis, Inc. in the Children’s Literature Department since 2009. Within Children’s, Christa is interested in fantasy, historical fiction, paranormal romance, horror, dystopian, humor and the occasional chick lit title, but is open to most any genre.
